| Novice | 4 to 5 | This age group is ready to go! They are introduced to the Olympic apparatus in this gymnastics preparation class. |
| Level | 6 and up | Time to start with real gymnastics skills. Begin to learn your first routines on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor! |
| Rhythmic Gymnastics | Rhythmic gymnastics has been an Olympic sport since the early 80′s and is considered the modern form of gymnastics. Each movement of a rhythmic gymnastics routine involves a high degree of athletic skill. Rhythmic gymnasts develop a strong sense of coordination by using hand apparatus such as the Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs, and Ribbon. |

| Cheerleader | Learn tumbling with our gymnastic coaches! Our tumbling classes teach both girls and boys the tumbling skills necessary to be great cheerleaders. Strength and flexibility are emphasized and their jumps will be higher and in better form with our trampoline training. |

- Make up classes are available and must be scheduled in advance through the office by calling 499-8258.
- The Recreation Department is excited about the new changes in our classes. The classes (with the exception of preschoolers) are now Levels 1 through
4 for girls and level 7 for boys, following USA Gymnastics guidelines. We can now move children to the appropriate level that will enhance their skills
and achieve their goals with testing being done at the end of ten weeks.
